American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, has been hospitalized. The reason is an overdose of caffeine and diet pills, he says People-magazine.
The 24-year-old rapper was admitted to a Florida hospital on Tuesday for a backlash he received.
Tekashi says Shade Roomille the overdose was the result of him taking two diet pills with coffee. The recommended daily dose is one pill. According to the rapper, he began to experience profuse sweating and his heart rate accelerated.
He did not, in his own words, use drugs at the time of the overdose. Tekashi, who is currently on parole, told Shade Room he had gained a lot of weight while in prison, and had therefore resorted to diet pills. She says she has lost about 15 pounds.
Tekashi’s lawyer Lance Lazarro commented Vulturelle on Friday that the rapper was discharged from the hospital on the same day. However, he denies that it was an overdose.
In 2018, Tekashi was sentenced to four years in prison for involvement in child sexual abuse.
In February, the rapper pleaded guilty to nine charges, including several firearms and drug offenses.
