Yamaha launches Tricity 300, a new model of three-wheeled scooter smart and contemporary with reference specifications and premium build quality. Its dynamic look brings a fresh and sporty style to the city streets.
The new Tricity 300 can also be driven by those with the driving license B, Yamaha Leaning Multi Wheel technology offers sporty, agile and confident driving with a user-friendly character. The two front wheels guarantee greater front traction and super braking power, thanks to the two disc brakes. In its category it is one of the 3-wheel models that boast the more dynamic look. The short and narrow “muzzle” emphasizes the light and agile character of the guide, the generous dimensions of the 14 ” front wheels transmit a strong feeling of stability and traction to the front.
Tricity 300, presented last year at Eicma, is driven by the most advanced Blue Core engine, equipped with one of the most sophisticated designs in its category, which offers the ideal balance between performance, consumption and versatility. The SOHC 300cc 4-stroke, 4-valve single cylinder is based on the innovative design of the engine adopted by XMAX 300, a spacious and quality scooter, and offers decisive acceleration.
The scooter boasts several premium features such as the larger diameter disc brakes and the Unified Braking System and ABS for superior braking control. The spacious underseat compartment can accommodate two full-face helmets or a full-face helmet and a briefcase. The compartment is illuminated by an internal LED light. Other standard features include the Smart Key ignition system and the Traction Control System, as well as the LCD instrument panel for immediate reading and the parking brake.
Among the best allocations of the new Tricity 300 there is the Standing Assist system which makes its use even more practical, with the possibility of maintaining the upright position when stationary. As soon as the gas opens, the Standing Assist disengages automatically and allows the pilot to start quickly and effortlessly. Standing Assist makes it easier to put the three-wheeled scooter on the central stand. Yamaha’s new three-wheeled scooter is available in three different colors: Nimbus Gray, Tech Kamo and Gunmetal Gray, will be on the market from July 2020 to the price of 7,999 euros.
