Iga Swiatek, who won Roland Garros on Saturday, enters the top 20 (17th, +37) of the WTA ranking on Monday. She has not lost a single set during the Parisian fortnight, something to dream of for the rest of her career. The Top 3 remains unchanged, with the Australian Ashleigh Barty still in the lead and who had chosen not to play Roland-Garros for fear of the Covid-19, followed by the Romanian Simona Halep, swept by Swiatek in the round of 16 of the Paris tournament , and the Japanese Naomi Osaka, who had to withdraw from the French stage due to a persistent injury to a thigh.

The American Sofia Kenin, beaten Sunday at Roland Garros for her second Grand Slam final of the year – and of her career -, meanwhile grabbed two places (4th). As for the Czech Petra Kvitova, thanks to her accession to the semi-finals of Roland Garros, for the second time in her career eight years after the first in 2012, she has gained three places (8th).
