On a very complicated track due to the rain that fell on the circuit, Matías Rossi dominated from start to finish and took victory in this Saturday’s Top Race competition, in Río Cuarto. Franco Vivian and Franco Girolami escorted him. While in the Series, the victory went to Baltazar Leguizamón.
The final started in single file due to the complications on the track, with Rossi leading the pack, followed by Girolami, Vivian and Valle, who defeated Azar. A lap later, the Del Viso driver regained fourth place.
Then he entered the Safety Car to remove the car of Emmanuel Cáceres. In the fourth lap the final was relaunched with Rossi in the privileged position, escorted by Girolami and Vivian. While in the Series, Leguizamón was the new leader.
With 13 minutes to go until the checkered flag was lowered, Vivian sent the Toyota out of the way, defeated Girolami and took second in the field. Then again the Safety Car to get the car out of Persia.
With 17 laps the speed returned to the race with Rossi in front, followed by Vivian, Girolami, Azar and Tadei. For his part, Leguizamón continued to lead in the Series.
Finally, it was a victory for Rossi in the final this Saturday. Escorted by Vivian, Girolami, Azar and completed the best five, Gustavo Tadei. For his part, in the Series, Leguizamón claimed victory, Di Palma finished second and Aldrighetti third.
In the championship, Rossi continues as the leader with 98 points, followed by Girolami with 65 units and Azar with 61. The activity for the Top Race will continue this Sunday at 8.40, when the third test starts.
