Movie buffs thriller e horrorPlease take a moment to pay attention.
October, the month that culminates with the beloved Halloween, has always been a favorable month for interesting news in the sector, and this year it will be even more so, thanks to a collaboration between Amazon Prime Video e Blumhouse, the manufacturing company of Jason blum which has put its mark on the greatest horror hits of this beginning of the third millennium.
The two companies have joined forces to bring about a project called Welcome to the Blumhouse, which provides for diffusion in streaming on the platform of Amazon of eight new films produced by Blum and directed by as many new and heterogeneous talents of world cinema.
Four of these films will be available on Prime Video during the first two weeks of October; the second four will arrive in the first months of 2021, on dates to be confirmed.
Of the four films in the project Welcome to the Blumhouse – which I am Black Box e The Lie (which will be available from 6 October), e Evil Eye e Nocturne (available instead from the 13th of the same month) – we present below i official trailers.

Black Box

Directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour Jr., and performed by Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad, Amanda Christine, Tosin Morohunfola, Charmaine Bingwa e Troy James, Black Box tells the story of a father who, after losing his wife and memory in a car accident, undergoes a painful experimental treatment that will lead him to question who he really is.

The Lie

Mireille Enos, Peter Sarsgaard and Joey King are the protagonists of this story in which two parents fall into a complicated web of lies and deceptions when they decide to cover up the fact that their teenage daughter killed her best friend in a moment of anger. To direct The Lie there is Veena Sud.

Evil Eye

Four hands signed by Elan and Rajeev Dassani, tells of a seemingly perfect love story that turns into a nightmare when the girl’s mother becomes convinced that her daughter’s boyfriend has a dark connection with her past. In the cast Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Omar Maskati and Bernard White.


Protagonist of Nocturne she is a shy music student from an exclusive academy who begins to overshadow her twin sister, much more confident and extroverted than her, thanks to the discovery of a mysterious notebook that belonged to a deceased classmate. Directed by To Quirke, is played by Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Jacques Colimon and Ivan Shaw.
