Nokia introduced the Nokia 9 PureView, the first flagship in the world with a 5-camera camera, in February 2019. We had to wait more than a year for another manufacturer to launch a phone with five cameras on its back and that includes Nokia itself. And now it is said that the Nokia 10 PureView would be the successor to the 9 PureView, not the Nokia 9.3 PureView.
Since the beginning of 2020, hopes had been placed on a Nokia 9.3 Pureview to be announced during the second half of the year and to take the position where the Nokia 9 PureView had left it. But with the increasingly upcoming release of the Snapdragon 875 chip from Qualcomm HMD Global and Nokia would have postponed the project.
Nokia 10 PureView hardware details
The place Nokia Power User appears to have contacted sources close to HMD Global reporting on the status of the next flagship premium from Finnish companies. While November was initially the month that the Nokia 9.3 PureView had plans to announce this project it would have been postponed once again.
That means that we will have to wait about two and a half years for the presentation of a successor to the Nokia 9 PureView. That’s because the new rumors place the announcement of the Nokia 10 PureView for sometime in the second half of next year.
The wait will be agonizing but, at least, to tame the anxiety the site Nokia Power User It brings us two rumors about its technical specifications: the Nokia 10 PureView would debut with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip and also with a five-lens camera in its rear.
So the Nokia 10 PureView would be the successor to the 9 PureView and not the rumored Nokia 9.3 PureView that was rumored to be announced in the current month of November. The latter, directly, would not go on the market, so we will have to settle for more midrangers from Nokia and HMD Global until the launch of a second premium cell phone.
