Bets are open to guess which Universal monster will appear in a new Chris Lord and Phil Miller film starring Channing Tatum.
After collaborating in the films of Jump Street, the directors Phil Lord e Chris Miller will return to work with Channing Tatum for a very interesting project at least on paper: a monster movie still untitled for Universal.
We only know that the film will be “a contemporary and ironic thriller inspired by the legacy of the classic Universal monsters”. Um … considering the size of Channing Tatum (who is also a very good actor and, as we have seen in Hail, Caesar!, also dances by God), we would naturally think of a possible modern reinterpretation of Frankenstein, obviously in comedy, or of a new Wolf Man.
The idea, which we hope to know more about soon, has come up Reid Carolin – screenwriter of the films of Magic Mike – and there is work on the script Wes Tooke, author of the war Midway.
