Tyrell Sutton wanted to end his uniform career in Montreal Alouettes, but the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted his plans.
“My time is up,” Sutton said. I did what I could. I tried to bring my name back to the sport and did it the right way. “
“When the pandemic hits, I know [saison] will not happen. Everything is full of uncertainty. The border is closed. No one can get in or out. The last thing anyone has to do is to provide funding for mid-level companies that are losing money. “
Sutton played for Alouettes from 2013 to 2018, most of the time he served 733 times, passed 4,044 yards, and scored 17 touchdowns. He also captured 189 passes, leading to 1665 yards and four majors.
The Americans won the Canadian Football League Championship with 1,059 rushing yards in 2015.
