The president of the United States, Donald Trump, began this Friday night a therapy with the antiviral remdesivir for Covid-19 after being admitted to a military hospital as a “precaution,” reported the White House.
“The president is very well. Does not require additional oxygen, but in consultation with specialists we have chosen to start therapy with Remdesivir. She has completed her first dose and is resting comfortably, “explained Presidential Physician Sean Conley.
Trump received Remdesivir after this Friday, still in the White House, he was administered an eight-gram dose of the Experimental antibody cocktail from the pharmaceutical company Regeneron.

The White House ordered in June the purchase of practically all production until September of Redemsivir treatment, from the American company Gilead, one of the two medicines that have proven useful against Covid-19.
Trump was hospitalized this Friday afternoon at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, barely 18 hours after confirming your positive by coronavirus.
Conley acknowledged before entering that the president feels fatigued and some media have published that he has fever.
The White House reported that the president will be admitted to the Walter Reed “the following days” and that he will work from the presidential offices of this medical center.
