Tom Hardy could replace Daniel Craig in the James Bond movie, according to the international press. The 43-year-old actor is the bookmaker’s favorite as the new agent 007.
There have been rumors in recent years that Hardy will take Craig’s place after his fifth and final film, No Time To Die. However, according to The Vulcan Reporter, Hardy was offered the role in June after a successful audition, although the odds of betting odds were halved.
The same source notes that the producers had planned to present Tom Hardy as the tenth James Bond in November, the month in which “No Time To Die” should have been released. But because of the pandemic, the publication says the announcement will be made at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2021.
The actor did not keep secret the desire to be the next 007, – but previously refused to talk about the role.
The hunt for a new Bond began in 2016, when 50-year-old Daniel admitted to being “over it” after being cast as “Casino Royale”.
