The Haas F1 team continues to introduce fans to their employees and this time has introduced one of the most experienced professionals – Toby Brown, mechanic # 1 of the car Kevin Magnussen.

Toby Brown: “On the track my tasks are: in general, I am responsible for everything that happens to Kevin’s car. I have to ensure that it is assembled correctly according to the specification and that everything works fine.

Before the start of the race, I have to release the car to the pit lane on time, I supervise the work that is carried out on the starting field, while being responsible for strict adherence to the schedule.

During pit stops, I work with a wrench at the front left wheel of the car and, in fact, on a safety net: I make sure that everything is done correctly.

I have been in Formula 1 for a very long time and worked in the Williams team before, although for a while I moved to Nissan Motorsports, but mostly in Williams.

The most pleasant thing for me in our work is the opportunity to travel and meet new people in the places where we go. “
