The legend of football, Diego Armando Maradona, died this Wednesday at the age of 60 due to “acute heart failure” in the house located in the town of Tigre, in Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he was recovering after having undergone surgery less than a month ago for a clot in the head.
On the occasion of giving him the last goodbye, the wake has been located in the Casa Rosada, government headquarters located in the city of Buenos Aires, which will remain open to the Argentine population from 06:00 to 16:00. About a million people are expected to pass through this iconic place to say goodbye to the historic footballer.
In fact, the burning chapel has been open for less than two hours and hundreds of followers have already approached, dismayed by the news, and there have been moments of tension and police charges outside the Casa Rosada. Right now in Buenos Aires it is close to 08.00 in the morning, having a time difference with respect to Spain of four hours less.
