This year’s NBA draft process will take place in two parts, with the first part scheduled for mid-September and the second lasting until the night of the draft event.
The league briefed the general managers of the NBA teams via video conference.
According to the league plan, the candidate players will be invited to send the results of medical examinations, in which they will undergo from where they will be together with a video of their interview.
Guided workouts on the floor will be included, but not individual workouts.
The first part will last from mid-September to early October.
In the second part, the teams will be allowed to interview the players live. The interview stage will start in mid-October until November 18.
Initially, the NBA draft for 2020 was scheduled to take place in June, then it was postponed, due to coronavirus, for October, and finally it was postponed to next November.
Option No. 1 in the draft belongs to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
