The palace surprises with two new photos of the Cambridges. They show the whole family with Sir David Attenborough in the garden of Kensington Palace during a private screening of his new film. Five special features that caught our eye.
Duchess Kate and Prince William released two new family photos this Sunday morning (September 27th). They show the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three children and a very special guest, Sir David Attenborough. But the new photos are not only talked about because of their famous protagonists. The pictures are almost reminiscent of an old painting; a lot is happening, some emotions, movements and interactions can be seen. The English love story Prince William + Kate Middleton (24028)
New photo of the Cambridges: five special details that inspire
Kate wears a dress that goes perfectly with the occasion
Duchess Catherine wears a light blue shirt dress with the sleeves rolled up. The dress made of cotton denim comes from the South American fashion designer Gabriela Hearst and costs around 1,390 euros. In addition to the tailored cut and the flowing material, it is also the perfect choice for this occasion because of its environmentally friendly seal: the film that was shown is ultimately about the future of our planet. She also combines dark blue pumps by Rupert Sanderson for around 565 euros and sparkling earrings by Patrick Mavros for around 200 euros.
Don’t we know Prince Louis’ sweater?
Kate’s youngest son, Prince Louis, wears a light blue collar sweater from British label Wild And Gorgeous. His big brother George already wore it during an official tour through Canada in 2016. Just like Kate, who keeps pulling old favorites out of her wardrobe and reinventing them, her children also wear the clothes of their older siblings very sustainably and normally. The small dark blue leather shoes and the pulled up stockings are also reminiscent of the outfits of Prince George, who in this picture is wearing long trousers and leather shoes.
Princess Charlotte wears her favorite shoes
Little Princess Charlotte seems to have found her own style at the age of five. As so often, she wears a patterned dress with a Peter Pan collar. The model with small flowers is from Zara. She also wears her beloved trainers in cornflower blue, which she has already displayed in other colors on several portraits. They come from the British label Trotters and cost 32 euros.
Prince George and his head of hair
Another detail that stands out is Prince George’s full head of hair. In this respect, the seven-year-old comes after his deceased grandmother, Princess Diana († 36) – she too had a full year of blond hair, which she usually wore as a short haircut and slightly combed to the side.
Color harmony – here they were coordinated
The color harmony is also remarkable: all six have different shades of blue that harmonize perfectly. Even Sir David Attenborough shows up in a color-coordinated blue jacket and dark blue trousers. Observers also draw parallels with the subject of the film; our earth. The blue-clad people in front of the green backdrop of the garden make a great picture.
The cute photos were taken last week in the garden of Kensington Palace, where they enjoyed a private preview of his latest film “A Life On Our Planet”. The British wildlife filmmaker and naturalist is a true legend and his biggest fans include the kids of Kate and William, as he once revealed in a conversation.
