The frog, the cat and the hippopotamus had to tremble in the new episode of “The Masked Singer”. There is no longer any quacking.
When frogs cover Modern Talking and aliens belt out “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus (27), “The Masked Singer” is on again. In the new episode on ProSieben, the eternal show intern Elton (49) was allowed to sit alongside Sonja Zietlow (52) and Bülent Ceylan (44) as a guest judge. The latter in particular displayed a talented detective with a bulging notebook that was worthy of a Sherlock Holmes. In the end, however, not only did his nose correctly sniff out who was behind the eliminated frog.
Three candidates had to tremble and therefore audition twice. The hippopotamus and the cat despite an outstanding vocal performance, all three jury members agreed – and the frog. Great comedy talent paired with a moderate voice: Clearly, Wigald “Die Doofen” Boning had to be behind the ambitious amphibian, Elton, Zietlow and Ceylan were dead certain.
Said frog then had to reveal his identity at the end of the episode – unsurprisingly, it was actually Germany’s most famous wise guy. Fitting to this: Somehow Boning even managed to keep his glasses on under the mask.
Side bet by Zietlow and Elton
By the way, Zietlow had an extremely interesting offer for her fellow jury member for the episode, Elton. As is well known, he moderates “Schlag den Star” and the jungle camp queen, who, according to her own statement, has been asked many times, offered him to compete with him as a candidate. Elton versus Zietlow in “Schlag den Star”? That sounds more than tempting, but Stefan Raabs (54) ex-trainee seemed to give up immediately. Did someone have their show pants full?
