The complex of the Academy of Rafa Nadal in Manacor it is not only a tennis school or a sports center, but much more. In its facilities it has a museum worthy of the height of such an athlete and of the successes he has achieved throughout his sports career.
They present it in a very eloquent way: ‘Museum Xperience‘. And it really is an experience for sports fans, beyond tennis. In their cabinets are all the trophies that the manacorense has won, including his 13º Roland Garros. Nadal himself has explained that it is a great pride that his twentieth Grand Slam can already be seen alongside the hundreds of other objects he has in the museum.
This is the last piece in an exhibition that has some objects that are the living history of sport, not just tennis, although the vast majority of them focus on Nadal, obviously.
Their Olympic medals, T-shirts and sneakers that he has worn in some of his tournaments, all trophies, videos and unique photos … Nadal’s career has unrepeatable successes that are traversed through an exhibition in which other elements are sprinkled.
And it is that Nadal, as an elite athlete that he is, has the opportunity to exchange gifts with others. For this reason, in addition to Nadal’s material, in the museum you can see his good friend’s kits or clothes Pau Gasol or the legendary Michael Jordan, a good collection of soccer jerseys signed by many teams or even a replica of the Renault R25 with which Fernando Alonso won his first World Cup Formula 1.
It even has a replica of a Real Madrid Champions League, a team of which Nadal is an honorary member. The last summer, Sergio Ramos and his family visited the museum and stopped in this area, where Nadal himself received them.
