The holiday comedy Fairy Godmother Wanted, directed by Sharon Maguire and starring Isla Fisher and Jillian Bell, will arrive on Dinsey + on 4 December to spread some healthy Christmas spirit.
As Christmas approaches, we all feel the desire for some serenity and some holiday comedy. Disney + knows this, and that’s why it has decided to make available to its subscribers, starting December 4, Fairy Godmother Wanted, a little fairy movie directed by Sharon Maguire, the record of Bridget Jones’s diary e Bridget Jones’s Baby. The protagonists are Isla Fisher e Jillian Bell.
Set in the Christmas period, Fairy Godmother Wanted tells the story of Eleanor (Jillian Bell), a young and inexperienced fairy godmother who discovers that the profession she has chosen is in danger of extinction and therefore decides to show people that there is still a need for fairy godmothers. After finding a lost letter from a ten year old girl named Mackenzie, Eleanor he starts looking for her and, when he finds her, he discovers she is a single mom from Boston who is forty and works in a news magazine. Mackenzie (Isla Fisher) has lost her husband and does not believe in love and a happy ending, and therefore it will be up to Eleanor make her change her mind by giving her a little happiness
Fairy Godmother Wanted is also interpreted by Santiago Cabrera, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Jane Curtin, June Squibb e Jillian Shea Spaeder. Disney has just released the official Italian trailer, in which laughter mingles with spells as the a-ha they sing the immortal “Take on me”, one of the hottest songs of the 80s.
