Little by little rumors that have been echoing for weeks here and there would be reaching the ears of Samsung. The website AjuNews South Korea claims to have contacted Samsung representatives. In their exclusive conversation, the medium maintains that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra would have an S Pen just like the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The implications of this would not be minor at all. If the inclusion of a touch pen is specified in the designs of these two flagships the Galaxy Note series would lose its distinctive feature. It is so from the site AjuNews they argue that the Galaxy Note series is “in the process of being discontinued.”
More and more sources talk about the discontinuation of the Galaxy Note series
The first rumors recently emerged about the inclusion of an S Pen in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. An information that, in addition, was accompanied by a possible announcement date: the new Galaxy Z Fold would arrive in mid-June. By itself, the rumored announcement date of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 doesn’t tell us much about the Galaxy Note series.
Is that like the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, apparently the last representatives of their lineage, they were presented in August of this year. That is, well into the third quarter and already comfortably accommodated within the second semester. A presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in June would still make room for new Galaxy Note.
But if already the most powerful of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the new foldable Samsung’s tablet size have an S Pen pencil, what excuse will the Galaxy Note have to continue existing in addition to a more rectangular design? Perhaps there are still rumors that can answer that.
For now, the site AjuNews argues that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra would have an S Pen, as well as a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 would have its own S Pen. Whether this is true or not, as well as whether it ends up affecting the continuity of the Galaxy Note series or no, we will have to wait for official sources to confirm or deny it.
