Amazon acquired the distribution rights to Prince Seeks a Son from Paramount, a sequel to the hugely popular Eddie Murphy film directed by John Landis in 1988.
Amazon Studios acquired from Paramount Pictures the worldwide distribution rights of the comedy The prince is looking for a son, the highly anticipated sequel to the Prince seeks a wife, a 1988 comedy starring Eddie Murphy e Arsenio Hall and directed by John Landis.
The Prince Seeks Son will then be streamed over 240 countries and territories on Amazon Prime Video starting March 5, 2021.
Once again, therefore, one of the flagship titles of what was to be the 2020/2021 film season will bypass the cinema circuit to reach the public directly at home on digital platforms.
