One of the most important household expenses is fuel, which accounts for around 4% of the total budget. For this reason, The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has launched a new edition of the initiative V Collective purchase with the aim of helping consumers save on fuel.
In the previous edition they participated more than 14,600 users who managed to reduce the cost of gasoline and other fuels with “average savings of 55 euros per year for members and 44 euros for the rest of registered”, underlines the OCU.
This initiative consists of bringing together a large number of consumers to “be able to negotiate conditions and prices with companies ” and get fixed discounts for at least twelve months. “Collective purchases are one of the few tools we have to achieve greater competition in difficult markets,” they explain from the organization.
