Jaromir Jagri is associated with a number of amazing statistics, and no wonder. The striker made his debut in the NHL in 1990, but continues his playing career at the second highest league level in the Czech Republic.
The hockey-focused site BarDown has now brought out some really special stats compiled by the Reddit user.
According to statistics, Jagr’s former playmate has played in the tube for 40 years in the Stanley Cup finals. What’s also special is that in his 39th year, Jagr’s playmate has celebrated the win.
Only the person who played with Jagr in 1986 did not win the Stanley Cup. He played for the losing team in the final series at the time, the Calgary Flames Joe Mullen.
Just a few games on the same team with Jagrin are enough to get on the list. The lockout period has also been included in the years.
This season’s incomprehensible list continues with the finalist Dallas Stars Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Jamie Olesiak and Anton Hudobin.
Admittedly, the statistic would have continued anyway, as there would also have been old Czech legend teammates at the Vegas Golden Knights, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Islanders.
In his NHL career, Jagr represented the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Florida Panthers, and Calgary Flames. So there are plenty of former teammates.
The puck legend has been raising the trophy twice. The striker, who rotten 1921 points, is second on the NHL points exchange ever after Wayne Gretzky.
