Next October 22 Huawei will be presenting us his new series of flagships and it was about time these were officially shown in teasers. The Huawei Mate 40 shows its dorsal design through an official poster posted on Huawei’s account on the social network Weibo. And thanks to this image we discover an interesting detail of its design.

As these types of promotional images tend to be, we don’t see much about the Mate 40. After all, much of the purpose of choosing a day to present a smartphone has to do with seeing its design for the first time. But Huawei has been encouraged to anticipate a distinctive detail of the later design of the Mate 40 Series.

Huawei Mate 40 design details

Teasers this low-key cry out for a meticulous interpretation of the details you choose to display. Take, for example, the official image of the Huawei Mate 40 that appears just above. The projection of a light in the background lets us see the complete silhouette of the unit, as well as some dorsal and lateral details.

Perhaps the least revealing is to say that the Huawei Mate 40 – or perhaps the Mate 40 Pro – would have a screen with curved side edges. This does not surprise us because two generations have been flagships Huawei’s choose that feature for their designs. But what is interesting is the choice of its subsequent design.

For the third consecutive year, Huawei will be using a geometric figure different from those of the entire competition to nuclear the lenses of its Mate. What it seems is that the Chinese manufacturer will choose a hexagon to nuclear its rear camera and, surely, also its LED flash and any number of sensors.

Thanks to this teaser, the Huawei Mate 40 shows its dorsal design, or part of it, and we hope that in the days to come more and more information about these premium phones will be revealed. Recall that the Huawei Mate 40 would be the first and last smartphones equipped with a premium hierarchy Kirin chip.
