They emphasize educational games. 20 projects will be chosen.
The Ministry of Media and Public Communication, through the Undersecretariat of Public Content, launched CREATE Argentina Videogames, a call to promote and encourage the creation of video games with educational themes, which will award incentive prizes of 20,000 pesos to the 20 selected projects.
“Since people play from early childhood, and video games are already part of our culture, We understand that they are also valuable tools for the development of educational themes“, said the Secretary of Public Media, Francisco Meritello, through a statement.
The document noted that “the approach to content should be thought around gender perspectives, sustainable development, indigenous peoples, family farming, art and culture, science and technology, tourism and sports, sovereignty, human rights, comprehensive sexual education (ESI), territoriality or communication “.
The 20 selected projects will receive a stimulus award of 20,000 pesos each to continue development.
Encourage “playful developments” CREAR’s proposal is to open a space to encourage the development of playful content and, at the same time generate a new channel of exposure to publish unpublished and original video games that become part of the Argentine cultural heritage.

A jury of specialists, specially summoned for this initiative, will choose the 20 projects, while the best three will be awarded a plus of 100,000, 60,000 and 40,000 pesos respectively.
