(Hertha Berlin – Borussia Dortmund 2–5) Erling Braut Haaland (20) scored four goals and stole an occasional headline, but was himself busy praising record debutant Youssoufa Moukoko (16).
At the age of 16, Moukoko became the youngest Bundesliga debutant of all time when he came in for just Mr Haaland after 85 minutes in the title win over Hertha Berlin.
– I would also like to play with him! He’s the greatest talent in the world right now. A very strong player and only 16 years old – amazing. He has a great career ahead of him, says Haaland to Sky.
Haaland was on his side
The charge for the match has not helped to dampen expectations around the young striker Moukoko. Several major media have published extensive reports on what is one of Europe’s hottest football talent.
However, Dortmund coach Lucien Favre, who could have been the grandfather of both Haaland and Moukoko, is doing what he can to dampen expectations.
– It is good for him and for the team. It’s good that he knows he’s in the first team now. But we have a lot of work ahead of us. We will see – he is young, says Favre to Sky.
Haaland was announced on Saturday morning as this year’s winner of the “Golden Boy” award for Tutto Sport, which is awarded to the world’s best player under 21 years of age.
– You do not have to do much other than look at him if you are a football fan. His nose for goals is sensational. He is currently scoring very important goals – almost everyone, in fact, laughs Julian Brandt to Sky.
Haaland has also been dangerous for the national team this autumn:
