Unai Extebarria already has a new team, Valencia Mestalla, a subsidiary of the Che team that plays in Segunda B. The 24-year-old goalkeeper wasfired from Granada after he showed his support with a T-shirt to those convicted of Alsasua for assaulting two civil guards.
From the Andalusian club they argued sports causes and that they did not count on him to end the goalkeeper’s contract, however many argue that his dismissal was due to the uproar generated by his public support.
In the shirt that Extebarria, Athletic youth squad, wore after the confirmation of Granada’s qualification for the Europa League last season readsr ‘Altsasukoak aske’, ‘los de Alsasua libre’ in Basque, and ‘Stop police montages’.
An action that it cost him a file opening and, later, dismissal, although the club had not had him for its goal for a long time.
Now he begins a new adventure in the Valencia subsidiary with which he has signed for a season.
