After a coup d’état in his country, a man gets stuck at the airport indefinitely in Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal with Tom Hanks. The appointment on SimulWatch is for Monday 5 October at 9pm.

The shared vision of Monday 5th October organized by the editorial staff of his SimulWatch, our app available for free on Google Play e App Store, is a famous 2004 American comedy. The Terminal is a film directed by Steven Spielberg, the third time of five in which the director directs Tom Hanks. The film is inspired by the true story of Mehran Nasseri, arrived in 1988 at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, after having been refused entry visa from the United Kingdom following the theft of his passport. In the cast of the film, in addition to Hanks, they appear Stanley Tucci, Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana e Catherine Zeta-Jones. The film faces with humor and tenderness the sense of a social role in life, between new friendships, romance and bureaucratic quibbles, with the American dream that the protagonist always has at hand but cannot reach.
The appointment for see The Terminal all together and comment on it with friends and family, each at home, through the SimulWatch chat is set for Monday 5 October at 9pm.

The Terminal tells the story of Viktor Navorski, a traveler from Cracosia who arrives at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, to find that his passport is suddenly no longer valid. In fact, due to the civil war that has broken out in the meantime at home, Viktor is no longer authorized to enter the US or to return home: he is technically stateless. For this reason, his passport and air ticket are seized from the visa office. With no other choice, Viktor settles in the terminal with his bags and a can of peanuts, much to the frustration of Frank Dixon, head of airport security.
Dixon is considered for a promotion and becomes obsessed with Viktor, whom he regards as a bureaucratic problem.
