DRAMMEN (VG) 194 centimeters tall Viljar Myhra (24) can be a future national team goalkeeper. Against Start last weekend, the Strømsgodset goalkeeper was again exceptionally good.
– The national team is a dream and a goal, Myhra tells VG.
On Sunday, the stadium clock at Marienlyst ticked against four minutes played when Start players Eirik Schulze (27) and Martin Ramsland (27) got two enormous opportunities alone with the telemarking.
The first finish stopped Myhra with his right leg, before he with a raw strong one-handed save also prevented the second attempt from the guests just seconds later.
– He saves with the glove there. I thought he was shot, but it’s a huge rescue. The must be 1-0 to the guests there, exclaimed Eurosport commentator Frode Marti.

The involvements were worth one point for the Estate
after Christian Bolanos (36) put in a penalty kick for the visitors and Moses Mawa (24) equalized 12 minutes before the end.
After the match, VG asked to talk to Myhra, while the floodlights over the artificial turf in Drammen were still on.
– Things happen fast. I do not have time to think. Of course it is important to get those rescues so early in the match. It would have been hard to end up under then. There were two good rescues at an important time, says the 24-year-old last chance about the situation.
The rescues tell only a small part about what a great season the Siljan guy has had in goal for the blue jerseys. After the transfer from Odd, Myhra made the goalkeeper position his own last year. This year, he has been solid in 21 of 21 possible matches.
– I thrive very well. It is an absolutely great environment in the Estate. I enjoy the confidence I get, and I feel I have performed at a stable high level throughout the season. I work hard to keep it going, says the towering telemarking.
As a modern goalkeeper type with more than centimeters and reflexes on his side, Myhra admits that he hopes to be part of the A national team in the future.
