Houston Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson filed three new lawsuits against misconduct and sexual assault, bringing the total number of such cases against him to 19.
The new lawsuit in Harris County Court concerns sexual assault during massage. Watson allegedly touched his victim with his genitals and exhibited unacceptable behavior.
The document said: “The plaintiff did not take these steps to gain money or attention, but to change Watson’s behavior and bring a new culture to the National Football League.” Houston Attorney Tony Buzby (Tony Buzbee) filed a lawsuit.
As far as the defendant is concerned, he denied any wrongdoing. His lawyer, Rusty Hardin, said last week that he believed “any allegation that Deshaun forced women to engage in sexual acts is completely wrong.”
On the NFL side, spokesperson Brian McCarthy said his organization is closely monitoring the files. If he does violate his off-court behavior policy, then the league may be severely cracked down.
