Let no one tell you that the perfect job does not exist, because Opera, the Norwegian company responsible for the browser with the same name, has launched a temporary job vacancy that only lasts two weeks but is probably one of the best paid job offers today .
Through LinkedIn the company mentioned that its intention is to better understand how users navigate the Internet. In fact, the company is not looking for computer scientists or experts with a degree in computer science, programmers or anything like that, the only requirement it asks for to apply is to be over 18 years old, speak English fluently, be a computer, a stable internet connection, and knowing what a browser is.
Simple, right? The best thing about this temporary job vacancy is that anyone in the world can apply because the work will be remote, that is, you will not have to go to work in any Opera office, and you will not have to travel to Norway, everything will be from comfort from your house. Regarding the payment, the company offers 9 thousand dollars after completing the job, which lasts 2 weeks, that is, at the exchange rate you would be earning more than 180 thousand Mexican pesos.
The only thing you should know is that during those two weeks Opera will see everything you do on the Internet, because according to Maciej Kocemba, product manager at Opera, “what we seek is to better understand Internet users regardless of whether it is surprising, boring or surreal; we want to discover the authentic ”. Likewise, the temporary employee will undergo some challenges to see how they cope with the browser and with other processes on the Internet.
Opera mentions that this job offer does not mean that after those two weeks you will be an Opera employee, although you can assume that you worked 2 weeks in the company.
