A poll revealed that 94% of South Americans are convinced that Lionel Messi and company will qualify for the next World Cup.
The Argentine National Team faces Paraguay in La Bombonera tonight for the first of the two matches corresponding to the double date of the South American Qualifiers. Next Tuesday, the team led by Lionel Scaloni closes this window against Peru as a visitor.
So far, the Albiceleste team is at the top of the table along with Brazil, after having won 1-0 against Ecuador and 2-1 against Bolivia. However, the road to Qatar 2022 has only just begun and there is still a long way to go.
However, there is full confidence that Lionel Messi and company will qualify for the next World Cup. At least this was revealed by a survey that was carried out by IMS (Internet Media Services), Offerwise and Criteria Chile and that showed that 94% of those surveyed believe that Argentina will say present at the World Cup.
In total, the report included 2,236 people between Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru, of which 52% were women and 48% men, over 18 years of age. If a difference is established by nationality, these were the results: 95% of Brazilians, 88% of Chileans, 92% of Colombians and 87% of Peruvians see the Argentine National Team within the next World Cup event no need for repechage.
IMS (Internet Media Services) is a Miami-based company that is a leader in digital communications and marketing. Meanwhile, Offerwise is a full-service research company that specializes in the Latin American and Hispanic markets. Finally, Criteria Chile is a research company that was founded in 2002 in the country that gives it its name.
On the other hand, the study also reveals that the other candidate team to overcome the Qualifiers comfortably is Brazil, to whom they see the first place of the tournament, while the two remaining places would be disputed between Colombia, Chile and Uruguay.
