The long-awaited Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup raised many eyebrows with its strange, sharp-angled design when it was first unveiled during a November event last year.

According to a tweet Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the electric car company, will unveil a redesign of Cybertruck “maybe in a month or so.” This message now complements some of Musk’s earlier statements. Since its launch, Musk has suggested that minor changes be made to the overall design. The first model would be launched towards the “end of 2021”.

It is not yet clear what exactly these changes will look like, but we can make some educated assumptions. Small improvements would mean, first of all, that it will not look very different.

“So we always want to make the car we deliver better than the car we reveal,” said Musk during a call last month. “And that is the goal with Cybertruck. So there are a lot of small improvements compared to what has been revealed. I think it will be better than what I showed “, he adds.

In December 2019, Musk wrote on Twitter that “we can probably reduce the width by an inch and maybe reduce the length by more than 2.54 centimeters, without losing utility or aesthetics,” referring to the monstrous size of the truck. The initial design is so big that it would be a struggle to fit it into a standard garage.

Musk also suggested, Teslarati reports, that this redesigned truck will be modified to carry longer items, opening a passthrough in the rear window, allowing objects to use most of the length of the vehicle.

Musk also noted that the latest truck will have an improved air suspension, increasing travel for “better off-roading.” Musk wrote in April.

One of the first Cybertruck specimens caught in a Musk factory

Based on a photo that was supposed to be taken at the Tesla factory in Fremont, California, the electric vehicle manufacturer seems to be assembling at least one more prototype model of the future Cybertruck.

The details surrounding the image are few. They were distributed on Sunday by a user who did not share any other information, apart from the fact that he did not personally take the photo. But Teslarati speculates that it is a new prototype.

There have been very few details about Cybertruck since it was first revealed in November 2019, Teslarati reports. A prototype spent some time in the Petersen Automotive Museum, and Jay Leno used one while filming a scene for “Jay Leno’s Garage.” There was also a short race that Elon Musk and friends did on the streets of Los Angeles.
