As announced by FOM management, this iconic track will continue to host the Japanese Grand Prix for three seasons.
EAfter reaching a renewal agreement, the Japanese Grand Prix will continue on the F1 calendar for another three years. The agreement will continue the legendary track until 2024 as the venue. The Grand Prix contract expires in 2021, and now F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali officially announced the extension of the contract.
“Japan occupies a special place in the hearts and memories of F1 fans all over the world. Suzuka is the birthplace of many legendary moments in the sport and has determined 11 world championships.”
“We would like to express our gratitude to the members of the Formula One car that Stefano Domenicali started, and thank them for their deep understanding in the negotiations.” said Kaoru Tanaka, head of Mobilityland (event organizer).
It should be remembered that the 2021 Japanese Grand Prix is set as the 17th date in the calendar, which is from October 8th to 10th. Vaccinations can be carried out before this date without frustration.
