Koevee, who plays in the mestiz, released a surprising player deal on Tuesday. Boston Bruins contract player Joona Koppanen, 22, will be transferred to the ranks of the Tampere Society through a loan agreement.
Koppanen will play already on Thursday, when Koovee will face Tuton in the series opening. The contract is valid until further notice.
The Tampere-based company entered into an income agreement with the NHL club Boston Bruins in April 2017 and left for North America the following season. He has not played any matches in the NHL yet.
Last season, Koppanen played 43 matches in the AHL at 9 + 9. There were five games in the “farm farm” ECHL.
– It’s great that we got things agreed with Jonah and Boston. This is a really great thing for the whole of Mest. Joona is a really big help to us and sets an example in her daily work with her own work, Koove’s CEO Pekka Hemmilä commented in the press release.
The Finnish striker has played 98 matches in North America and scored 22 power points. In the season 2017–2018, he played 45 matches in the Finnish Championship in Ilves.
Koppanen was winning the World Under-18 Championship in the 2015–2016 season.
