The latest data from the Ministry of Health show 195 new deaths from covid-19 and another 27,856 new cases since last Friday. There are already 33,124 deaths and 888,968 infected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The latest figures put Madrid again with the highest number of cases, with 33,422 infections in the last fortnight, of which 14,969 in the last week. It is also the community in which the most patients have required hospitalization (49,735) and there are more admissions in the ucis (3,922).
Catalunya is the second community, with 31,728 hospitalized, of which 86 in the last week.
Castilla y León, with 659 hospitalized cases in the last seven days, is the one with the strongest worsening of cases.
According to the data provided to Health by the communities this Monday, Madrid has registered 207 infections in the last 24 hours and is in third place in number of infections in that period, after weeks being the region with the highest number of new cases.
Navarra is in the lead in new positives, with 546 more in the last 24 hours, followed by Aragon, with 397.
