The company Sony has announced a renovation and expansion of its wireless speakers Extra Bass (modelos SRS-XB43, SRS-XB33 y SRS-XB23) that present a design to water, dust and shock proof. As a noteworthy fact, it should be noted that they improve the sound quality and emphasize the ease of transport and use outdoors.
Sound quality improvements
One of the distinctive notes of the new products launched by Sony (video) are the improvement made in the quality and depth of the bass, which are achieved thanks to a shape do not circulate which maximizes the diaphragm area to increase acoustic pressure. Speaker shake is also reduced without altering the pressure, resulting in less distortion. For example, the sound pressure level of the XB33 has increased by approximately 30%, while the distortion rate has been reduced by approximately 25% compared to the previous model (SRS-XB32).
Unlike the circular diaphragm of conventional models, the XB43’s Extra Bass loudspeaker has a nearly rectangular diaphragm. Its 2-way system combines a woofer for low and medium frequencies, with a tweeter specialized in the highest frequencies. The result is a more powerful sound, with deep bass and clarity of voices.
The XB33 and Extra Bass speaker models XB23 they have a diaphragm do not circulate and a new off-center design. This design maximizes the loudspeaker diaphragm to achieve more sound pressure while maintaining its compact size. The new stiff and lightweight MRC cone and dust cap also contribute to the sound quality.
The design of the passive side heatsinks has been optimized on all three models, to reproduce clear bass sound.
The mode Live Sound provides a three-dimensional sound experience, similar to a live concert.
The new models have a classification IP67, so they can work on the beach and in external conditions. They resist salt water and dust. Have undergone tests of impacts And they are proven to withstand the inevitable bumps, scratches and scrapes in everyday use.

Equipment can be controlled by Free Fiestable App able to recreate the feeling of being in a club, directly from tel smartphone. Sets the flashing and color change of the lights, depending on the model, to the rhythm of the music. The function Party Connect, allows you to connect up to 100 wireless speakers compatible with Bluetooth technology to synchronize music and lights, depending on the model.
