“My dad, whom I love forever, my friend, whom I’m always there for, my role model, whom I’m always proud of. I don’t want to believe it yet and I will love you forever,” he wrote of a picture of the deceased 74-year-old.
Mario Ohoven, born in Neuss (North Rhine-Westphalia) in 1946, came from a traditional entrepreneurial family and was a trained banker. He later worked as an investment advisor. Until 2005 he was managing partner of the Düsseldorf-based Investor- und Treuhand GmbH and since 1998 president of the BVMW.
