The match between FC Den Bosch and Almere City in the Kitchen Champion Division is canceled on Tuesday evening. The entire selection of Brabant residents has to be quarantined by the GGD because of a corona infection.
At Almere City, three players have even been tested positive for the corona virus, but the team of trainer Ole Tobiasen was able to play. Due to the quarantine obligations at FC Den Bosch, there is still a line through the game.
It is not known who tested positive for the corona virus at Den Bosch. The current number twelve in the Kitchen Champion Division only reports that it is a member of the selection.
The match between FC Den Bosch and Almere City was to start at 6.45 p.m. in Stadium De Vliert. It is not yet known when the game can be made up. The KNVB will set a new date as soon as possible.
Almere City had started the season well. Tobiasen’s team currently occupies second place with thirteen points, five less than league-leader NAC Breda, which has played one more match. Den Bosch is on six points after five rounds.
In the Eredivisie, a match could also be canceled last Saturday due to corona infections. Eight players of RKC Waalwijk were quarantined because of two positive tests, after which the home game against PEC Zwolle was marked.
