Sebastian Vettel is more than 10 years older than Lance Stroll. He intends to use his experience to push Aston Martin forward and help his youth teammate.
Vettel is now a member of Aston Martin and does not intend to change his approach. He hopes his expertise will enable Stroll to develop further.
“It’s clear: I’m an old man, he’s a young man, not just a passport. According to a comment on the professional website Motorsport, Vettel said that I think I obviously have more experience. I think he has a lot of talent and speed. And I think he can still learn a lot. I am happy to help him.”
“I’ve never hidden anything from my teammates before, so I don’t understand why I’m doing this now. You know, if someone was willing to open up and share everything when they were young, I would be very happy, if that’s another way when I was a kid . I think this is a win-win situation.”
Vettel used his platform to condemn the treatment of Quebecers by certain racing fans. According to him, it is unfair to discredit Stroll for any reason, because he has proven that he is very fast.
Vettel said: “Some things he has experienced are not right.” He has proven that he is very fast on many occasions. I think if you are just taking the lead in Turkey, it may be the toughest track condition I have experienced in F1 in 15 years. Not only to stay on the track, but to get the lap and get the lead, it takes a lot of talent to do this. “
Stroll himself said that he was satisfied with Vettel’s arrival, and he experienced the novice’s fine-tuning skills during the three-day winter test in Bahrain last weekend.
“He knows the car’s performance very well and his expectations of the car,” Stroll said. His comments are very wise. He has extensive experience and is a very talented driver. “
“However, this is still in the early stages. I’m sure that in the next few weeks, when we start the game and have similar plans at the same time, I will know more about him. I think we might understand us. Mutual feedback, give us “feedback” and better understand what we’re talking about.”
The first Grand Prix of the season will be held in Bahrain on March 28.
