One of the Xbox exclusives that has the horror enthusiasts in candle is Scorn, a mysterious game about which little is actually known and whose revelation was in the distant 2014.

The person responsible for its development is Ebb Software, a Serbian studio that started operations just a year before the game’s reveal and what little it has said about its creation is that it revolves around the idea of ‘having been thrown into the world’, whatever that means.

Beyond cryptic messages, what is evident is that the art design of Scorn is totally influenced by the work of H. R. Giger, Swiss surrealist artist to whom we can attribute several of the current nightmare images, and who was in charge of the design of the Alien for the 1979 film of the same name directed by Ridley Scott.

In this way, the images and videos that have been shown so far of the game emerge settings and creatures that follow logic biomechanics with which Giger himself defined his work.

Last May it was announced that Scorn will be exclusive to Xbox Series X / S Y PC, and now to give gamers a preview of what this grim first-person experience holds, the official channel of Microsoft’s platform has posted 13 minute gameplay.

From the video we can infer that despite being a shooter, the game will be a slow pace, probably for the sake of infecting users with the sense of overwhelm for which the atmosphere is committed and so that it is possible to admire carefully the care put into the level design. This is really like Giger’s work will come to life.
