The sports judge of the Italian League sanctioned this Tuesday with a 3-0 defeat to Roma in their match last weekend in Serie A against him Hellas Verona by improper alignment of the Guinean Amadou Diawara.

“Considering that Roma has employed a player not registered on the list of 25 communicated by certified email on September 14, 2020, it resolves to sanction Roma with the sporting punishment of losing the match 0-3,” said the league release.

The Guinean footballer played last season with the team ‘yellow Red‘a total of 22 matches without being registered on the official list, as it is one of the four that could be held in the Under-22 category and they do not need to be registered.

However, Diawara turned 23 last July and the Roman club did not notice to formalize his registration, which led him to incur an irregularity against Verona, in a duel that ended without goals and in which the midfielder he played practically 90 minutes.
