Roda JC has booked the third victory of the season in the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday. The Limburgers defeated FC Dordrecht 4-0. Earlier in the evening, FC Eindhoven won the light city derby against Young PSV 1-2.

FC Eindhoven wins city of lights derby

Roland Alberg opened the score for Roda against Dordrecht in the final phase of the first half from a penalty, after which Jordy Croux doubled the margin a minute later.

Amir Absalem took care of the 3-0 shortly after the break and Stefano Marzo determined the final score just before time. Roda ended the match in Kerkrade with ten men due to a red card for Erik Falkenburg twenty minutes before time.

Thanks to the victory, Roda climbs to second place with nine points from four matches. Leader NAC Breda has the same number of points, but will visit Jong FC Utrecht on Monday.

At De Herdgang, FC Eindhoven took the lead early at Jong PSV via Kaj de Rooij. Shortly after the break Richie Ledezma took care of the equalizer, but a few minutes later Jort van der Sande gave his team the win. Eindhoven occupies fourth place with seven points.

Young Ajax booked its first win of the season at Go Ahead Eagles. In Deventer Kenneth Taylor (penalty), Brian Brobbey and Victor Jensen led the team from Amsterdam to a 0-3 victory. In injury time, Jeroen Veldmate missed a penalty for Go Ahead and Young Ajax defender Max de Waal got his second yellow card.

FC Volendam won for the first time this season at Helmond Sport: 0-1. In injury time, Nick Doodeman headed in the only goal against Helmond Sport. Both clubs have four points.
