Rocky Vista University Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine complete, showcased state-of-the-art technology, active learning, simulation rooms, virtual reality, 80 students anticipated, housing provided.
Rocky Vista University Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine, the first full-time medical school in Montana, is now complete and showcased its state-of-the-art technology to the public. The 135,000-square-foot building features classrooms for group-based learning, such as going over case studies, and simulation rooms with lifelike mannequins. Students will also learn using virtual reality goggles, which allows them to explore the body in ways that are not possible without technology. Eighty students are anticipated to be in the first class, starting mid-July. In order to support the students, Stock Development has committed to build 720 brand new apartments, directly adjacent to the campus. 36 apartments have already been built, and students and staff will receive priority. Everyone is excited for the students to arrive in July and begin their journey.
