Daniel Riccardo has scored points in six consecutive races – and hopes to continue that streak at Imola …

Question: With what feelings are you waiting for the stage in Imola?
Daniel Riccardo: For us Imola is another new stage. I am very happy to go to this race, so far we had a great time at the new stages this year, I really liked it.

It’s great to come back to Italy – this season I have achieved good results in the Italian stages, I hope it will be so next Sunday. I have not raced in Imola before, but I know that this track has its own aura, its own history – I look forward to the opportunity to touch it.

Question: What do you know about this track?
Daniel Riccardo: I know that it is short and it is not easy to overtake there, but there is a relatively long straight – on Sunday we will understand what to do with it. The cars are tuned to a medium level of downforce, there are fast and medium-speed corners – it will be interesting.

After a tough weekend in Portugal, we will try to earn as many points as possible in Imola. We will do everything in our power.

Q: What can you say about the Portuguese weekend?
Daniel Riccardo: As a team, we left Portugal not without great regret and without great joy. It was important just to earn points in order to continue fighting with our direct rivals.

Already on Friday it was clear that the weekend would be difficult, especially in terms of tire performance, so the points earned are a good plus. We could not achieve more than the eighth and ninth places, and in Imola we hope to return the top six.
