Realme, OPPO’s second brand focused on the Indian market, has decided to expand the family of its most popular series of powerful midrangers released to date. Thus Realme announces the Realme 7i with similar hardware characteristics to those of the standard Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro, especially keeping those more attractive specifications.

He Realme 7i retains the huge 90Hz refresh rate screen that attracted so many users to the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. As for the rest of its technical specifications we can say that the Realme 7i ranks just below the standard Realme 7 in terms of capabilities , but it’s still an offer to consider.

Features of the OPPO Realme 7i

While technically the Realme 7i is a cheaper model than the Realme 7 with some specs punctually underperforming, the newer of these two is actually a hybrid between the Realme 7 and the Realme 7 Pro.

On its front we see a 6.5-inch flat LCD screen with HD + image resolution with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and with a 16MP selfie camera embedded in its upper left corner. In aesthetic terms, the similarity between the Realme 7i and its siblings is noticeable, but their image resolution is far below.

Flipping the Realme 7i we can see that the way to align the lenses of its quad camera in a rectangular compartment is almost identical to the Realme 7 Pro and very different to the standard Realme 7.

And that’s because its quad camera is the same except for one detail: 64, 8, 2 and 2MP sensors in wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, monochrome lenses, instead of depth lenses, and macro, respectively.

The power of the Realme 7i is provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor that will work with an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM memory chip and a 128GB UFS 2.1 storage chip expandable by up to 256GB via microSD card.

And for such hardware users can lean on a 5000mAh battery with access to fast charging technology of up to 18W of power. A cell of this capacity guarantees us a whole day of autonomy even under conditions of intense use, taking into account that the screen of the Realme 7i is LCD and not Super AMOLED like that of the 7 Pro.

Realme advertises the Realme 7i in “Polar Blue” and “Aurora Green” colors and is priced at approximately US $ 220 only. For now, the Realme 7i will be exclusively available in Indonesia starting September 18.
