As for the fur seals, defender Jérémie Poirier excels by hitting the target twice.
Seal forward Liam Leonard did not attend the meeting because he was suspended by QMJHL for violating the league’s COVID-19 agreement.
He is expected to return to the battlefield on Saturday due to a conflict with Moncton Wildcats.
The round-robin champion will face the Charlottetown Islanders in four of the seven series. For health reasons, two teams in Nova Scotia, Halifax Mooseheads and The Cape Breton Eagles have not made the playoffs this season.
