The NFL has decided to relax its COVID-19 agreement for players and employees who have been vaccinated with the virus.
Specifically, vaccinated people must be tested once a week, not once a day. If they have been in contact with an infected person, they will no longer need to be tested after travel, nor will they need to self-quarantine.
He said: “The NFL and its Players Association will monitor the impact of these relaxations very closely. As the vaccination operations of the team facilities progress, we will explore the possibility of further relaxation of the relaxation program.”
Currently, 14 teams have held vaccination meetings for their players, employees and their families. In the next two weeks, 11 other formations will do so.
The National Football League (NFL) does not require all players to be vaccinated, but is developing some incentives for those who choose to be vaccinated.
