According to the data released today by the General Directorate of Health (DGS), this Friday becomes the second worst day of infections of the entire pandemic, a mark that had already been reached this Thursday, with 1,278 new infections.
Regarding mortality, the DGS pointed out that 12 people have died in the last day, two more than the previous day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic
In total, since the pandemic began, 83,928 infections in Portugal, of which 29,702 are cases that are still active and 2,062 deaths.
