Considered a sect by some, Scientology is a religious movement created in the 1950s by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. A controversial figure, Hubbard was influenced by his experiences in World War II, when he was the commander of a US Army submarine.
According to Scientology, every human being is a tetanus, an immortal spirit who has been so affected by various traumatic experiences throughout life (or rather of lives) that he has forgotten that he is immortal. Tetanus has absolute control over their bodies, but every time one body dies, the tetanus must enter another body. That is why Scientologists believe in reincarnation.
