OnePlus has announced the successor to the OnePlus 8 released earlier this year. The OnePlus 8T has a screen that can be refreshed 120 times per second. A new version of fast charging is also supported.
Earlier this year, OnePlus presented the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The OnePlus 8T in particular is a successor to the former.
For example, the 8T offers a 120Hz screen, compared to the 90Hz version of the OnePlus 8. With this refresh rate, the image looks smoother when scrolling or gaming, for example. The OnePlus 8T also supports a new fast charging technology, with which the battery of 4,500 mAh can be fully charged in almost 40 minutes.
The number of camera lenses has gone from three on the OnePlus 8 to four on the OnePlus 8T. In addition to a standard camera, there is a wide-angle lens (with an angle of view of 123 degrees) and a macro lens for close-ups. New on this model is the monochrome lens. According to OnePlus, this allows direct photography in black and white, without loss of quality.
The phone supports portrait mode in photos as well as videos. The subject remains in focus and the background is blurred.
The phone has a Snapdragon 865 chip that supports 5G connections. There is also 256GB of storage space available. The device comes in two versions. The variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs 599 euros. The variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs 699 euros.
