The Dutch Open badminton, which was scheduled in Topsportcentrum Almere from 6 to 11 October, is canceled.
At the moment, due to the corona pandemic, there are too many financial and organizational uncertainties to prepare and organize this event in a responsible manner, organizer Badminton Nederland reports.
Next year again
For next year, the largest international badminton event in the Netherlands is just back on the calendar. The 2021 edition will take place from October 12-17.
Last year, Lakshya Sen and Wang Zhi Yi won the singles. There was also Dutch success at the Dutch Open for the first time in seventy editions: Robin Tabeling and Selena Piek won the mixed doubles.
